NAME Champagne Veuve Ricotteau Brut Tradtion NV Champagne Autreau De Champillon Premier Cru Brut NV
WINE MAKERS NOTES An exuberant appetite-arousing fizz stashed with tangy green-apple fruitiness. The long finish has a persistent mellow crowd-pleasing quality which keeps you coming back for more.

Produced from grapes cultivated in some of the finest vineyard sites in the Champagne region – and this is pleasingly reflected in the rich, elegant style of this full-flavoured wine. The fine persistent mousse leads through to ripe white peach fruit with plenty of fragrant floral aromas, and the rich creamy toasted brioche intensity on the palate lingers until the next sip.

A hedonistic treat for lovers of mature, premium quality Champagne.

NAME 1997/8 Champagne Les Perles De La Dhuy Grand Cru Brut Champagne Autreau Premier Cru Rose Brut NV
WINE MAKERS NOTES The Grand Cru villages in Champagne are the very finest, producing the ripest most flavoursome grapes. This vintage style is produced only in the years where nature favours the region with the gentle climate required for creating a super-premium wine which must then mature for several years before release. The Autreau family business is one of the few Champagne houses to produce a fine rose wine from superior premier cru vineyards. In keeping with their generous house style, this is full-flavoured and medium-rich with plenty of fragrant strawberry fruit to the fore, and a subtle hint of spice lingers on the long persistent finish.
This is rich, ripe and powerful yet elegantly smooth and perfectly balanced. The toasty, creamy depth make this a delicious partner to shellfish, rich cream sauces and poultry. Well balanced, substantial and very pretty – a ‘supermodel rose’.
